Although many still engaged in relating the career of Dwayne Johnson with the new " actioner "eighties the fact is that the bulk of his film career has developed in more family movies Conservative, inoffensive and bows of the last decade.

And is that since Peter Berg signed him for The Rundown (The Rundown, 2003, Peter Berg) no one has come to give the Samoan hipervitamiando a film with action scenes to match his charisma, or failing a movie mature enough to exploit his gesture and his impressive musculature tasteless (and I do not forget this nonsense that was watered down remake of Walking Tall.)

But what could be an excellent example of the crudest updating of hard boiled cinema soon putting paid due to lack of talent of its director to maintain interest in the film, for two reasons; incompetence first to film action scenes with decent pace, and that fight in the toilets which was for much more bland or car chases, and second, that where to continue the good progress of the movie tells the story called lead until the final consequences plot premise we find inconsistencies as the episode of the Reverend or the final outcome intended to prosecute the police messy personal life, played by Billy Bob Thornton, whose scenes of themselves and away the film's gritty, dry tone that promised at first.


These defects dilute the achievement of the film, as that wonderful soundtrack, which includes topics such as "Short change hero", which sounds right at the end, or the score of the citizen rebels (Il cittadino si ribella, 1974, Enzo G. Castellari) "Goodbye my friend" that sounds when the player leaves the prison and that contributes to become memorable all part of the presentation of the character of the driver, a scene with the shooting in which a girl crosses are the best finds of this production which is half way of his, on the other hand, nothing ambitious intentions.
